Bishil Summer Wearing Tibetan Necklace

Complete your summer wardrobe by having a religious necklace within just a grasp. For the season, this type of accessory is still popular as well as cross pendants and saints effigies.
The Buddhism beads rather known as Tibetan malas, are used when reciting mantras or counting prayer, just like the rosary. They are usually made with 108, 27, 21, or 19 beads. Similar to Catholics, counters are used by Buddhists to trace the number of times they have ounted a mala. Commonly made of wood, malas are also most sought after in materials like turquoise, copper, lotus seed, and yakbone bone.
Around the world, Tibetan handmade jewelry and Tibetan artworks such as the Tibetan Mala beads are widely recognized. Several television documentaries, motion pictures and literary works feature Tibet, Tibetan ethnic groups and their culture as well.
Lots of Tibetan jewelry and crafts created in Tibet and Nepal. These include malas, thangkas, singing bowls, prayer boxes, and artworks containing Tibetan symbols like the Buddha wisdom eyes, the six words proverb, om mantra, klachakia symbol, eight sacred Buddhist symbols, and prayer wheel. The Religious Tibetan necklace shown in the picture gives off an exotic, warm and inviting look. For the summer, it is quite fashionable, especially when matched with a plain black top as seen in the photograph.

The Kardashians Love Rosary Necklaces

Fashion Police officer Khloe Kardashian struts in front of the camera with sisters Kim and Kourtney in their uber fashionista attires. Khloe wears a shiny muted jewl tone mini dress in long sleeved v-neck, and high-waist style. She accessorizes with a cocktail ring, black belt bracelets and a very sexy religious necklaces, which sets her apart from her equally fashionable siblings. That animal print gladiator, heels look great, too.
If Kim and Kourtney both decided to wear a cross pendant necklace as well, then they would’ve been a picture perfect endorsement for the rosary trend.

Jessica Alba Wearing Silver Religious Bracelet

Famous for her role as a superhero in Fantastic Four and star role in the dance movie Honey, Jessica Alba never fails to get praises from amazed critics, media and fellow celebrities for her beautiful red carpet looks and impressive outfits at Hollywood events. The Fashion Police, for whom everyone’s outfit is target for criticism, rarely finds fault in Jessica’s get-ups, compared to other actresses who never learn and keep coming back to the red carpet wearing another fashion disaster.
Jessica Alba looks immaculately gorgeous in this shapeless beaded gown with a waistline that goes as high as a basque underneath the bust line. Wearing a religous bracelet, she smiles and stands cheerfully while holding the microphone with both hands, fingers clasped.
Religious bracelets are “it”, as opposed to the chunky bangles with bold hues that are also trendy for 2012. Dating back some many years, these bracelets were already worn by religious people but not as an accessory, but as something symbolizing one’s faith. Right now, they are being religiously worn by the faithful and non-faithful alike. For those who use the rosary as a prayer tool, it is sacred and should be kept accordingly. But for those whose faith lies in the world, it’s just something to adorn themselves with. Either way, it is still a hot trend.

A Chotki for Wolverine (Hugh Jackman)

The simplicity of Hugh Jackman’s prayer bracelet speaks for itself. It is neither colorful nor does it have an off-color hue. Instead, it has a dark blue plus black combination that reminds us of something that X-men or any other mutants would wear.
Religious bracelets worn by everyone nowadays are pretty modern. Some people still put on Saints effigies and rounded beads made of wood. Others wear plastic beads or crystal beads, yet as each year progresses, the products also come to a revolution. 2010 saw a great deal of religious jewelry being shown on the runways, in boutiques, on the streets and at websites. Many customers rush in to have a piece of their own chotki or komboskini either for prayer or for accessorizing only. Indeed, these items are easy to style with and can fit any personality. With various designs, there’s a wide range to choose from.
When picking prayer bracelets one should always consider the look. Do you like it? Does it fit? Is it comfortable enough to wear? These are questions you should ask yourself before buying one. Examine the material, the size, the color and every detail you can remember. Most of all, never forget checking the price tag. Sometimes, accessories cost a lot that’s why you should have a budget. As we all know, it’s always better to save than spend more than you can afford.

Christie Brinkley With a Fashionable Beaded Necklace

Recently, the Daily Mail released its list of the World’s richest models. Coming on third is Christie Brinkley, who, in the picture, is wearing a gold rosary necklace hanging in the middle of her deep V plunge neckline. With financial holdings worth millions and millions of dollars, it’s not a surprise if Brinkley can afford such a luxurious accessory. Not only is it expensive, but chic and trendy as well.
Being a model, Brinkley is aware of trends that come and go. Granted that she looks great in that outfit, Christie used to pose in a swimsuit for Sports Illustrated in three consecutive appearances which made her more famous. She was also privileged with the longest ever running contract with CoverGirl made by a model in history. With a supermodel along with other celebs wearing the religious trend, it could mean more sales to the businesses selling such items. The stars have always been trendsetters and they made the whole world love and embrace rosary fashion as if it would stay on the shelf forever. And perhaps it would.
Religious fashion has proven to be very versatile, easy-to-wear and stylish for any person. Just look at the number of celebrities and ordinary people wearing a rosary necklace. It’s not a surprise if manufacturers might further maximize their stocks someday. Rosaries are such a hot trend. Let’s hope it always will be.

Beautifull Camilla Belle's Religious Bracelets

Camilla Belle is one of the faces that rarely need makeup, powder or any cosmetics at all. Her beauty is effortless, just like those of Katie Holmes, Pixie Lott, Jennifer Lopez, and Demi Moore. All of these lovely ladies are bracelet wearers who each have their own sense of style.
Camille’s bracelet is a Silver chotki which the young starlet matched with an artsy printed dress that goes perfectly well with a traditional collar and uber short hemline. The hairstyle reminds us of Vintage Hollywood glamour which adds an element of femininity to her attire.
Also seen wearing silver chotkis are Anna Kournikova, Ashley Tisdale and Cameron Diaz, who are all great-looking women with amazing talents, cool jobs and huge pay-checks.
But you don’t really need a fat bank account to get your own chotki. Sometimes, all you need to do is buy one for yourself, or for a special someone. It would make a nice gift since it symbolizes faith, religion and currently, a fashion trend.

Check out 33knots.com if you are looking for cool and original religious bracelets or necklaces.

Richie Sambora Also Into Religious Necklaces

Looks like Richie Sambora is also a fan of religious necklaces. He doesn’t just have one, but two. In the previous photo’s, he is seen wearing a cross necklace over a black and white suit. For this one, he wears a different rosary bling that also has a silver cross but another type of strapping. This trend suits their band record Living on a Prayer, as almost every rock star owns a string of prayer beads.
Celebrities of all ages seem to have developed an ongoing love for religious fashion. Numerous stars have been photographed wearing either prayer bracelets or prayer necklaces almost everywhere, in beaches or in any other casual place. Others accessorize with it on the red carpet, at press cons, or at some star-studded venues. What’s great about these religious accessories is, they can be worn anywhere and anytime without making the wearer prone to criticism such as comments from the Fashion Police who are ready to take on anyone committing a crime against fashion.
