For those who don’t already know, Adrienne Monique Coleman is an American actress, dancer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist; for someone as young as her, she sure has a lot on her plate! However, she is probably best known for the role of intellectual feminist Taylor McKessie in the TV movie “High School Musical”. In fact, this photo of her wearing a sparkly gold dress and religious bracelet was taken at the High School Musical concert during her dance performance, “Dance with Me”.
For a young philanthropist like her, the religious bracelet is indeed fitting. On February 2011, she was named the first ever UN Youth Champion for the International Year of Youth . Not only that, Monique Coleman has also launched her very own online talk show last September 2010 called “Gimme Mo” which is dedicated to empowering today’s youth. Now that’s someone who makes good use of their time and as mentioned before, her sporting religious accessories is not a surprising thing seeing as how blessed she is with successful projects and how she gives back to the community.
The sparkly gold dress isn’t something most of you would define as “chic”, but remember though that that is merely a costume and Monique’s style surpasses that kitschy number. Why not be classy and feminine like Monique Coleman and wear a flirty sundress with some religious bracelets.
